The Fabulous over 40 portrait experience is different from our other portrait sessions because we share these incredibly gorgeous women's stories. These women have celebrated milestones & victories, experienced loss and gone through hardships, but no matter what they have been through, they have made it through whatever life has thrown at them.
It has been so inspiring to talk with these women and hear their stories. Here at Christine Nicole Photography, it is an honor to share their stories with you!!
Our next lovely woman from our Fabulous 40 project is….Teena Johnson!
Teena is originally from Iowa but lives in Lakewood Ranch, FL, and does Business Transformation Strategy work at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is proud of her career achievements in science and technology. Her experience completing an MBA at Washington University in St. Louis was a pivotal moment in her career trajectory that helped transition her from being a published scientist to working in business technology. She is forever grateful to her professors, mentors, and her cohorts.
One of her most significant accomplishments is being a mom to two of "the most handsome little souls." She also feels a sense of accomplishment while reflecting on how far she has come in life. She has worked hard to get where she is and enjoys being able to afford her children opportunities that she never had. Her advice for her eighteen-year-old self would be to "Be the best version of you."
Teena loves the quote, "People with great passion can make the impossible happen." She also enjoys serving others and mentoring. She currently serves on the board for Take Stock in Children in Manatee County by bringing a perspective of technology to the table. She is passionate about mentoring young women, especially those engrossed in more "male-dominated career fields" such as science and technology.
She wanted to be part of this project to take a pause and celebrate this chapter in her life. By putting her face out there as part of this incredible experience, she hopes to bring more visibility to how it takes a village to create meaningful change in individual communities and the world. She believes in empowering young people, especially during these unprecedented times.
