What do you do when your god daughter comes to visit, shows up at your studio and wonders why she is not on your wall for display???  And then she mentions that she just so happens to have a hot pink dress with her in the car that happens to match your branding colors!  Well, you call your hair and makeup artist that is what you do!  Rylee was quick to inform me that she was prepared to be my studio mascot!  I love it!  Rylee got the full treatment just as any of my clients would get for a beauty session. We had a morning of hair and makeup by Marissa, followed by her portrait session and then we ended it with a great lunch!  It was so much fun and the pictures are so beautiful!  In fact, the first image in the collection was one that I entered in our local Photographer’s Guild competition and it merited.  I don’t usually do competitions, but I am glad that my first competition image was of her.  :-) .

And today just happens to be this sweet little girls 10th Birthday!  Happiest Birthday to you Rylee!  Love you so much!

Sarasota Senior Portrait Session

Check out these two beauties sneak peak – What a pleasure to work with the two of these girls.  One of these girls is a high school senior this year and her sister is in the 10th grade (I know right!).   They were amazing to work with and the images are beyond gorgeous.  I love doing these types of beauty portrait sessions. When it comes to  pampering my clients with hair and makeup and giving my clients a feel for a model for the day it is the best feeling in the world.  When it comes to getting your professional portrait session done I like to say that you need the “Full Recipe” and at Christine Nicole Photography we educate our clients on what that is.  We help our clients know what to wear, how important hair and makeup is and to help you with the look you are going for.  So, whether you are looking to book your high school senior portrait session, professional headshot session, or family portrait session please give us a call at the studio at 727-599-1073.  We can’t wait to create your next session with you.

Sarasota Family Portrait Photographer

I could not have been more thrilled to hear from this wedding client of mine.  Kris & Dusty were married on July 9th, 2011 at the Don Cesar in Saint Petersburg and I was able to spend that day photographing their beautiful wedding for them almost six years ago.  You can view their wedding images here.  Wow!  I can’t believe how time flies.  Fast forward till now, and now I am back with them at Fort Desota Beach photographing their family portraits with the sweetest little babies, well not really babies, but an adorable four year old girl named Hailee and the cutest little boy named Charlie.  I am so glad that they called me to photograph their growing family and even more excited that they decided to buy a second home down here in Saint Petersburg and hope to have the opportunity to watch their family grow through the years.  I love the colors that they chose for their outfits they are perfect and the headband for Hailee, I think we all want one of those.  :-).  And I am just dying over the images of the kiddos in the water!  Love them!  Enjoy all of your images!

Sarasota Headshot Photographer

I am so happy that I had the opportunity to work with Renee Ryckman the owner of the Escape Countdown. Renee came into the studio to update her business portraits for her company.  She was looking for some headshots for branding that she could use for different marketing pieces.  I think that we nailed it!  I love when the session is not forced and you work with your client in a very natural way.  When Renee came back into the studio for her ordering session she was able to pick the images that worked best for her brand and the ones that she loved!

I always educate my clients on their headshot sessions so that it goes as smoothly as possibly.  My clients and I talk about several things before such as hair, makeup, clothing and accessories that will make their business portraits look polished. This helps my clients have a stress free session and we get amazing images! Our clients use their images for their business profiles, marketing pieces and social media.

I am the social chair of our local photography guild and decided that I wanted to put together something fun for the group.  We try to do something together every couple of months and usually it is photography related. However, this time I proposed that we try the Escape Countdown.  I love to support other businesses in the community and Renee being one of my clients I thought this would be a great adventure for us.  I thought that it would be a good team building experience for the group and we could get to know each other on a different level.  Ha! Without a camera and lens in front of our face!

The Escape Countdown is definitely and experience.  You are locked in one of their themed interactive rooms and you are required to figure out puzzles, make observations, and use critical thinking to unlock yourself and team from the room.  The thing is you only have 60 minutes to do so!  You can check out their website here.  I totally recommend going!  It was so much fun and it is great to really do with anyone whether it be co-workers, family or friends. They have three locations to choose from Sarasota, Tampa and Fort Myers!

Here are the images that we chose!  Love them!
